Stacy Wyatt is the Founder & Creative Director of Canadian Special Events Magazine, an award-winning magazine and blog that connects event profs with ideas, inspiration, and creative resources. Stacy is also the Founder & Chair of the Canadian Event Awards; Canada’s only national awards program recognizing excellence in events for 23 years.
Throughout her career, Stacy has built an enviable and extensive network of industry connections across Canada and around the world which she passionately uses to help people and companies grow and flourish. Because of her initiatives, such as the Canadian Event Awards, CSE Live, industry volunteerism, mentorships, she has been a driving force in the growth and development of the Canadian Event Industry as a whole.
In addition to her work on the front lines of the event industry, Stacy is the Director of Events at the University of Manitoba where she is responsible for the development and execution of high-profile which engage the University community, foster relationships with key stakeholders and support student and philanthropic initiatives.
Stacy has received 7 international event awards, (two for her magazine), held positions on the Boards of ILEA, CSES, Speaking of Impact Magazine and the Violet Heart Project and today remains the creative lead behind Canadian Special Events.com and her new passion project; EventGirl. In 2020 Stacy was inducted into the Senecans of Distinction, by Seneca College for her support and mentorship programs within the Exhibit & Event Management School.
